Riposte The Katana Chardonnay 2024

Mattinson review of Riposte The Katana Chardonnay 2024.

Riposte The Katana Chardonnay 2024
AU$29, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

There’s genuine body to this wine, it has good mouthfeel too, and then the length of the finish impresses. There’s a lot to like about this Adelaide Hills chardonnay. Complex meal, flint and oak-spice characters thread through peach, lime, lime leaf and woodsmoke. There’s no need to wait on this wine either; it’s tip-top for drinking right now.
