This is a very attractive wine. It flashes herb and spice notes at you, has a good run of fleshy cherry-plum fruit, and carries enough saucy oak to give it a plushness. For all this it remains easy-going and just plain – deliciously – drinkable. This is a lovely Adelaide Hills shiraz from the folks at Riposte. 92 points.
