Mulline
Mulline is a Mattinson Ten Star Winery.
Only the best of Australia’s best are ranked as a Mattinson Ten Star Winery.
Mulline has been one of the biggest quality movers on the Australian wine landscape of the past decade. Every wine it makes speaks of excellence. Based in the Geelong wine region in southern Victoria, Mulline doesn’t make a lot of wine but what it makes is of note, or better. These wines are slaying all-comers, everywhere, for their freshness, for their flashes of complex flavour, and for their sheer drinkability. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, (oaked) Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah all excel here. M lupine sources grapes from a range of growers in its region and does so, routinely, to compelling effect.
Update: Having just tasted the Mulline Portarlington Chardonnay 2024 ($62) I’m more convinced than ever that we’re onto a great thing with Mulline.
