Wangaratta CWA Hall building

I lived on the same street as the Wangaratta CWA Hall building for six years, and every time I walked past I was taken by its shape, its style and most particularly, by its detail. I love the cleanness of its lines. I love its uniqueness. I love its mid-century vibe. Most especially, I love those exquisite three windows which sit, incredibly, on one side only. This is a building, for all its humble simplicity, that makes you stop and stare.

I’ve never had the chance, but I would love to photograph the internals. I’m lead to believe that the tiles in the bathroom are pink, and that the foyer is lime green.

The Wangaratta CWA building is on Templeton Street, Wangaratta, just near the photocopy supplier.
