MMAD Vineyard Blewitt Springs Rosé 2025
$39.50, 13% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This rosé is made with a field blend of different varieties, all grown on the same vineyard, including chenin blanc, grenache, cabernet sauvignon and shiraz.

It’s a beautiful rosé. Fleshy where it needs to be, dry and long thereafter, savoury through the finish. Indeed you’d be hard-pressed to find a more perfect example of the pale, dry, fruity-but-savoury style of modern Australian rosé. It tastes of cranberry, nashi pear, red cherry, sweet woodsy spice, citrus and white pepper. It’s the goods. 94 points.
