Bleasdale Block 99 Malbec 2022

Mattinson review of Bleasdale Block 99 Malbec 2022.

Bleasdale Block 99 Malbec 2022
$16, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Langhorne Creek.

Bleasdale, Langhorne Creek and the Malbec grape. What an amazing combination. This wine (exclusive to Aldi) is far better than its $16 asking price. It’s a wine of real flavour and genuine character. It has personality, It tastes of leather, black cherry, plum, cola and dried flowers and herbs. It would be great with a steak but then, it has the body and richness to drinking well on its own, on the couch. Value rating here is high.
