Yering Station Little Yering Pinot Noir 2025

Yering Station Little Yering Pinot Noir 2025
AU$24, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Yarra Valley.

This is one of the better offerings in the affordable pinot noir stakes. It smells and tastes of nuts, mace, sweet red berries and inflections of dried, aromatic herbs. It's a good wine, varietal, impressively complex and well presented. It has good texture too; it’s almost satiny. I said on The Winefront that this “punches above its asking price”, which sums this wine up. It’s better than most other wines in its price/variety class.
