Athens, Greece: #1

Street scene from Athens, Greece in 2024. Copyright Campbell Mattinson.

As someone who loves colour in photos, and in life, and in wine for that matter, I was a happy camper in the polychromo streets of Athens, Greece in 2024. This image of two people walking down a pastel-coloured street is so simple that it’s exquisite. I’m printing it in a book, I like it so much.

He’s also a winner of a St Kilda Film Festival Award (as writer-director) and is a former winner of the prized Best Australian Sports Writing Award.

Mattinson puts a score out of 100 on every wine that he reviews. But what he’d rather do, is tell you the wine’s story.
