Heathcote Shiraz named Best In Show at 2025 Decanter Wine Awards

Trentham Estate’s 2023 Reserve Heathcote Shiraz has won a Best In Show award at the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards. The Decanter judges pulled the wine from the 18,000 wines submitted to the show and scored it 97/100. This is the first Victorian wine to win a Best in Show award at the Decanter wine show.

The Decanter World Wine Awards is the world’s largest wine competition. Courtesy of its best In Show award, Trentham Estate 2023 Reserve Heathcote Shiraz has also been included in the Decanter World Wine Awards Top 50 Wines of 2025.

Trentham Estate’s Chief Winemaker and Managing Director, Anthony Murphy, said that he is incredibly proud of this Shiraz, noting that it is “made with the utmost precision and care.”
