Aramis White Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Mattinson review of Aramis White Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2021.

Aramis White Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
$22, 14% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This qualifies – easily – as a hearty red wine. It’s warm, rich and powerful, its fruit flavours sitting comfortably in blackberry-and-black cherry territory, though true to cabernet’s varietal form it also shows flavours of mint and dried herbs. It feels solid throughout, the aftertaste adding a sweet raspberry/Ribena-like note. You can’t really go wrong here. 90 points.
