Monterra Endersby Vineyard Reserve Shiraz 2023

Mattinson review of Monterra Endersby Vineyard Reserve Shiraz 2023.

Monterra Endersby Vineyard Reserve Shiraz 2023
$45, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

It’s the svelte texture of this wine that really draws you in. It’s not gloopy or overdone, but this wine does have a smooth skin, and it’s the perfect complement to the wine’s core of roasted plum, peppercorn and black cherry fruit flavours. Basically this is a dry, well-balanced, warm-hearted red wine of medium-weight, and high appeal. It’s soft, firm and confident at once. 92 points.
