Tenafeate Creek One Tree Hill Riesling 2024
$30, 11% alcohol, screwcap, Eden Valley.

This is an Eden Valley riesling with a bit of difference. It’s propelled by lime and lime blossom flavours, which isn’t unusual, but then it also carries highlights of mango skin, lemongrass and melon. The end result is a riesling with plenty of cut and zip, but with a bit of body to it, and indeed mouthfeel. You’d almost say that there’s some grip here. It’s a riesling with plenty of aroma and plenty in general to say, and it will team beautifully with food. 92 points.
