Cloudbreak Syrah 2024
$28, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

This is a lovely wine to drink. It’s savoury, peppery and floral – it lives up to its Syrah moniker – and it’s well backed by cherry-plum fruit flavour, with smidgens of boysenberry, deli meat and woodsmoke in the mix too. In other words, everything here presents well. It’s a complex wine but also a hugely drinkable one. Net result is that it’s a pretty compelling proposition. 93 points.
