Mike Press Wines Chardonnay 2025
$36, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

This is an elegant chardonnay with hay, nectarine, nashi pear and brine characters running the length of the palate. It feels zippy throughout, and welcoming, though there’s also a gentle slip of texture and the finish is well extended. It’s textbook, in a good way. This is drinking well now but it should be better again with another 12-18 months extra time in the bottle. 91 points.
