Mike Press Wines Estate Red Blend 2022

Mike Press Wines Estate Red Blend 2022
$23, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

Black cherries, blackcurrant, plum and red rose characters combine with toast, woodsmoke, briar bush and twiggy herbs. It’s a noticeably tannic wine, and is now showing the first signs of development, but there’s good volume of flavour here, and plenty of herbal complexity, and alongside food especially it drinks well. 90 points.
