Dappled Appellation Chardonnay 2024

Bottle of Dappled Appellation Chardonnay 2024.

Dappled Appellation Chardonnay 2024
$45, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Yarra Valley.

Wonderful wine from the first sip to the last. Complex. flinty, driven by grapefruit, peach and pear, and then tangy and smoky through the finish, with no shortages of umami highlights. It puts on a show but it’s a wine of substance, line and persistence. It makes classic schardonnay look easy. 95 points.
