Irvine Altitude Barossa Valley Shiraz 2023

Mattinson review of Irvine Altitude Barossa Valley Shiraz 2023.

Irvine Altitude Barossa Valley Shiraz 2023
$35, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Barossa Valley.

This Barossa shiraz is balanced and neat but it also has a lovely plushness to it. It’s just the ticket if you’re looking for something to settle into, so to speak. It tastes of ripe plums, saltbush, cloves, red licorice and smoked marshmallow, and from start to finish it turns on the charm. 93 points.
