Briar Ridge Limited Release BDX 2024
AU$40, 14% alcohol, screwcap, Wrattonbully.

This is leafy and juicy and well sustained. It tastes of tobacco leaves soaked in blackcurrant, licorice, cedar, ozone and bay leaves, with gum leaf notes present as well. It’s sinewy through the finish but the juiciness of the fruit continues to push on through. This is a medium-bodied red that also looks set to cellar well.
