Briar Ridge The Gatherer Shiraz 2024

This is a mid-weight, well-fruited wine with a bit of extra character. It drinks like a charm. It tastes of red cherry and plum, cream and toast, mint and almonds, and it feels both satiny-smooth and well-balanced as it passes through your mouth. There’s enough tannin here to give this wine some shape but it’s not an overly tannic red; it all just flows evenly, and pleasingly.
