Penna Lane Watervale Riesling 2025

Bottle of Penna Lane Watervale Riesling 2025

Penna Lane Watervale Riesling 2025
$35, 10.5% alcohol, screwcap, Clare Valley.

This is from a vineyard at Leasingham in the famed Watervale sub-region of South Australia’s Clare Valley. It’s a frisky riesling, and a long-flavoured one, with lime juice and lime leaf flavours floating into bath salts, florals, rust and steel. Both freshness and length are its best friends, courtesy of its long, lean, scintillating flavour profile. It needs either super-fresh seafood or a stint in the cellar to show its best. 92+ points.
