Sweet fruit runs through the middle of this wine, surrounding by classic tobacco and bay leaf notes, and underpinned by firm, dry, earthen tannin. Everything therefore is nicely in alignment. It’s worth mentioning too that this wine is fresh, fruity and minty – even as an eight-year-old. It still feels youthful. Or put another way; it’s a good wine to drink. 90 points.
