$25, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Coonawarra.

I first tasted this wine a couple years ago and since then it’s hardly budged an inch. That’s a good sign. It tastes of pear, peach and citrus with a smidgen of spicy, cedarwood-like oak running through, though it also now carries a gentle tonic-like edge, the latter of which is a most attractive trait. This is drinking well now though truth is that it will also continue to drink well over the next handful of years. 90 points.
