Cedar, spearmint and woodsmoke flavours run through blackcurrant, redcurrant, leather and dark chocolate. This is a substantial wine, courtesy of significant servings of both fruit and oak. Tannin, fine and assertive at once, plays an assertive but integrated role. There’s a lot of wine here. 93 points.
