Flowstone Sauvignon Blanc 2024
$36, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Margaret River.

The noteworthy thing about this Sauvignon Blanc is that it’s accessible and easy to enjoy but, importantly, it’s also complex. It’s fun and serious at once. It tastes of lemongrass, tropical fruit, gravel, grass and woodsmoke, with flint-like notes adding to the drama. It’s two years old but it feels both tense and vigorous; it shows no signs of slowing down. It has good texture and length too.

Score: 93 points.
