This takes bright cherry-plum flavour and layers notes of black pepper, violet, spearmint, roasted nuts and choc-cream over the top. It’s fresh, vivid, ripe and satisfying all at once. It’s also svelte, which simply means that it both tastes and feels good as it passes through your mouth, though mouthwatering acidity ensures that the energy of this wine remains high. All this combined makes for a lovely drinking experience. 93 points.
