Miners Ridge Nebbiolo 2021
$30, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Grampians.

This grows appreciably as it rests in the glass. Nebbiolo and the Grampians have not traditionally gone hand-in-hand but this release is a most interesting development. It tastes of cherries red and black, leather, mint, rust and unsweetened cola, and from start to finish it keeps you engaged. The finish is sheeted with tannin, as it should be. This is a successful nebbiolo. 90 points.
