Shy Susan Riesling 2024
$40, 13% alcohol, screwcap, King Valley.

This riesling was barrel fermented with a smidgen of residual sugar retained. The end result is excellent. It tastes of lemonade, lime blossom, slate, mandarin and tonic with a keen floral element pushing through as the wine breathes. Texture is key here. So too softness. It has good intensity of flavour but the mouthfeel is the thing. And the length. And the elegance. In short this riesling is lovely all-around. 93 points.
