$30, 12.5% alcohol, screwcap, Pays d’Oc France.

Pitch perfect Sauvignon Blanc, if not better than that. There’s plenty of flavour here but it’s not too herbal or pungent, which means that it sits in a very attractive place. Tropical fruit, lemongrass, barley and lychee notes get the job done before finishing with a dry, confident push. Good from every angle. 92 points.
