AU$115, 14.5% alcohol, DIAM cork, Coonawarra.

This is super-solid and plush with it. It’s impressive. It’s a full-bodied cabernet featuring deep pools of blackcurrant flavour, tracings of cedarwood oak, ozone notes and highlights of both redcurrant and mint. It’s not a particularly leafy cabernet though there are some dried herb notes in play, more or less as whispers. Tannin, dry and fine, adds shape without getting in the way. Excellent.
