Moss Wood Chardonnay 2024
$95, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Margaret River.

Moss Wood Chardonnay always sits on the richer side of the equation and, indeed, is often an exemplar of the full-bodied style. This 2024 release is both a case in point and the perfect example of how to exhibit richness in its best light. This wine really does rock its world and rock your socks in the process. It tastes of grilled peach, cedar, pine, mint, chamomile and cream, and while it carries significant volume in flavour terms it’s also taut, and controlled. It’s terrific through the palate and then terrific through the finish as well. It will cellar like an absolute charm too. 95 points.
