Intrigue is a good thing in wine, most of the time, and this wine is en example of how it can be put to positive effect. It’s driven by stonefruit flavours – yellow peach and nectarine – with a touch of cedarwood in play too, but the intrigue comes via delicious infusions of toasted hay and yeasty bread-like notes. This wine is juicy and inviting throughout, which is the main thing, but it has those little extras that really make you want to dive in for more. 92 points.
