Kyneton Ridge Reserve Pinot Noir 2024
$50, 13.7% alcohol, screwcap, Macedon Ranges.

This wine is an absolute winner. It’s inherently Pinot Noir but it also has the feeling of extra. It tastes of cherries and plums, fresh and smoked, with subtle reductive characters, woodsy spice notes aplenty, crushed violet notes and a general infusion of smoked cedar. There’s a firmness to the finish, and a spiciness, and a juiciness. Everything about this wine is impressive. 95 points.
