If there’s such a thing as a slurpy cabernet, then this is it. It has Drink Me written all over it. It tastes of blackcurrant and leather, bay leaves and cedar, and while there’s ample in-built complexity it feels soft and ready to be consumed. Of course there’s no hurry but you get the idea. This has just started to mellow, and can be consumed from now. 92 points.
