$30, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.
This is a warm-hearted shiraz from McLaren Vale with dark chocolate, asphalt, black licorice and peppercorn characters flowing evenly through the palate. There’s certainly some alcohol warmth evident here but so too is there plenty of stuffing. In short, it’s a rich, satisfying shiraz. 90 points.
