Haselgrove Catkin Shiraz 2023
$40, 14.7% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This is a bold McLaren Vale shiraz, thick with flavour. It lays ripe plum, mint, cedarwood and vanilla flavours down in a smooth but authoritative manner, and continues the show from the first attack of the palate and then all the way through to the finish. There’s very good drinking to be had here; this wine is bold and cohesive at once. 93 points.
