This is a silky smooth shiraz with plum and vanilla-cream as the main drivers of flavour. It’s liberal in its delivery of both fruit and oak, which not only give the wine a richness but also makes for a smooth drinking experience. It tastes of roasted plums, toast, dark chocolate and mint, and while it’s bold it still manages to feel fresh through the finish. 90 points.
