Thistledown She’s Electric Old Vine Grenache 2024
$70, 14% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This is a beautiful wine, hands down, full stop. It’s light, perfumed, spicy, earthen, ribbed and riven with fruit and yet delicate, finessed, exquisite. It’s a veil of a wine; lacy, fancy and special. Bring out the best glassware. Put on the oven. Roast something up and believe, as you drink this red-fruited wine from old South Australian vines, that joy exists and indeed has stopped to visit. 95 points.

And what a complement this wine is to
Thistledown This Charming Man Grenache 2024.
