I can barely sing the praises of this wine highly enough. The drinkability here – or deliciousness – is elite. It’s juicy and velvety and bright and fruity at once; it has depth and darkness but it’s all served with a spring in its step. It tastes of red and black licorice, violets, aromatic herbs, fresh red cherries and assorted woodsy spice notes. It’s handsomely tethered by firm, ripe, fine-grained tannin. And it has excellent carry through the finish. Everything is spot on. 94 points.
