There’s a keen hit of grapefruit-like flavour here which then kicks the wine straight into yeast, cooked apple and baked pastry notes. This wine is as convincing as it is enjoyable. The bead is fine, there’s a glide of strawberry flavours over the top, and the finish sails on appreciably. This is an excellent sparkling wine. 93 points.
