AU$30, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide.

This is an easy wine to like. Black cherry and black licorice flavours swing effortlessly through the palate, bringing dried Italian herbs, leather, iodine and citrus peel characters along for the ride. It has a softness but then it also has enough tannin to shape it. In short, it’s lovely to drink.
