Neldner Road Shiraz 2023

Bottle of Neldner Road Shiraz 2023, made by Dave Powell.

Neldner Road Shiraz 2023
$100, 14.5% alcohol, cork, Barossa Valley.

This is robust, rich and good. It feels and tastes meaty, in that it has substance and grain and plenty to sink your teeth into. It tastes of plums, both fresh and roasted; blackcurrant; iodine, aromatic herbs and chocolate, with a rusty note to the tannin, as a positive. Everything is in excellent order here. It fills the mouth with flavour, slips down beautifully, and has plenty to hold onto.
