Amazing freshness and form on offer here. This wine is thirteen years old and it’s in great shape. Leather, boysenberry, blackcurrant, licorice, mint and toasted tobacco notes put on enticing show throughout, and are well sustained through the finish as well. This is a wine of quality but it’s also a wine of charm. 93 points.
