A blend of sauvignon blanc (87%) and semillon from the Oakville AVA in the heart of the Napa Valley. Warm season, barrel fermented, nine months in a mix of new and used French oak.

This is a wine of beautiful balance and texture. Gentle gravel, gentle smoke, and stone fruit flavours flow evenly through the palate, seducing as they slide. I love the stony, apricotty, smoky balance of this. It has an elegance. It has style. It has a lovely, chalky, grainy finish. It’s full but it’s not overdone. I drink this wine and wondered: why don’t I drink this kind of wine more often?
