Some wines, as soon as you put your nose or mouth near them, remind you strongly of sultanas. This is such a wine. It’s sweet-fruited and curranty with bay leaf, undergrowth and forest mint characters adding both bass and treble. It’s a wine of life, lift and medium-weight fruit, and it will work best alongside food. 89 points.
