This wine brings velvet to the table, backed by rich fruit flavour, and supported by firm, elongated tannins. It’s a ripping drink, loaded with ripe plum, blueberry and redcurrant flavour, and then long through the finish. It has more than its fair share of swagger too. Violet, sweet spice and clove-like notes add both a prettiness and extra complexity; it’s beautiful. 94 points.
