This is a seriously good chardonnay. It’s rich in flavour too, which gives it that extra edge of satisfaction. It tastes of grilled peaches and cream, toast, sweet spices, oatmeal and ripe, mouthwatering citrus. There’s a subtle honey/nougat-like aspect to the oak, which is fully integrated and at one with the wine as a whole. This wine finishes composed, even taut, though it still manages to persist appreciably. In short, it’s a majorly impressive wine from start to finish. 95 points.
