$80, 14% alcohol, screwcap, South Australia.

There’s plenty of throttle to this red wine but it’s also a wine of character. It’s driven by intense roasted plum flavours but then there are flings of rust, orange rind, smoked meat and mineral in the mix too. It’s rich and satisfying but it keeps you interested too. 93 points.
