This is a serious player in the modern grenache stakes. It’s ripped with ripe fruit – sweet raspberry, strawberry, red licorice and blueberry – but it also crackles with spice and feels light on its feet, the latter in the context of an overall strong showing. There’s a smattering of floral notes here too, both dried and fresh, and a spread of fine-grained tannin. In short, everything here impresses. 93 points.
