The Lane Vineyard Estate Chardonnay 2025
$60, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

This is a particularly pear-laden chardonnay with chamomile tea characters floating through white peach, custard apple, cedarwood and cream. It comes across as characterful plus plus. It comes with lifted aromatics, sloshy farm apple notes, whispers of smoky oak and just the right amount of tension. It’s a quality wine now and it will be better again in another 12 months time. 94 points.
