This is from the Trott Vineyard, planted in the Blewitt Springs sub-region in 1952.

This wine is a joy to behold. It’s awash with raspberry, anise, twiggy spice and almond-cream characters but it’s the light insistence, the fragrance, the formation of filigreed tannin and then the long sail of the finish that really sets the quality and, in the process, beguiles. Joy to grenache. 95 points – Campbell Mattinson.
